Packaging Design

[ Axess Products Corp ]

Axess has a variety of products in their line and I've worked on several designs throughout my three years of employment with the company. And I had a lot to learn about designing packaging, especially collaborating and managing communication with the company's manufacturers in China. Along with my team of designers, I was able to take part in creating a template/style guide for Axess' product packaging that really made it more modern and appealing. It wasn't an easy journey but the final results were satisfying.

Working at Axess really was an experience that taught me so much about creating and designing artwork that could ultimately not be made and have to push to side and forgotten completely. These waterproof earphones packaging (below) are a really good example of that. I was truly proud of these designs but my employers chose to go another direction. Still proud of my work, but had to let go of the emotions and move on. That's just the way it goes sometimes.
